Quite a funny true story: My mate worked in a small video shop last summer and this one time him and his boss were talking at the counter. This guy walks in with a briefcase (!) and pulls out a... video tape. He explains to them that he has made this films and is looking to get it distributed straight to video, so he's basically trying to get them to stock it... Anyway, in the shop they have a TV and video player on the wall above the counter so they said they'd have a look at the film to see if its worth stocking. So the 3 of them are looking up at the TV as it begins... Apparantley it started with a voice over; ''The year is 2050 and smoking has been outlawed..'' and the first scene is of a woman smoking.. then all of a sudden this water starts spraying her cigarette and it cuts to someone dressed up with a super-soaker! ''That's terrible..'' His boss said as he took the tape out... I cant believe some people! I told my mate he should have kept a copy for a laugh! |
