Nacmat is right... the Beatles were loved by EVERYONE... popular AND respected artists, a balance nobody else has ever had... that's a fucking accomplishment. The only time in history the BEST band in the world was the most POPULAR, as well... I'd love to be alive at that time. The musical climate sucks, now. The Velvets and Pink Floyd were great... but NO WAY IN HELL are they on the Beatles level. |
