ARGH!
I would get a Gameboy Advance off eBay. I looked for my
friend cos he wants to sell his. They're dead cheap.

GBA's good, cos you can also play older Game Boy cartridges
on it. However, Sudoku is becoming my latest obsession when
it comes to waiting room occasions.

I had a go on my gameboy at lunchtime. I picked up an "82 in
1" pirate cart whilst on holiday it is suprisingly good (a
few hacks, a few homebrew games, lots of old classics, as
well as some newer games, but thankfully no duplicates). The
handheld (PSP excepted) seems to be the last great hope for
old style games.

Jaser: I quite like the look of the nanoloop. I've been
holding out for a GBA homebrew (useable with a flash
cart)sample sequencing tracker, but after 3 years of
waiting, I think I'll bite the bullet and buy this next time
it becomes available.

I'm not that bothered about using the sounds of it (I don't
really like most chiptune tracks), more just being able to
use it to sketch melody/drum tracks on the move, instead of
the pen and pad I use currently.

I did indeed miss this thread as I was off sunning,
swimming, eating and drinking myself stupid on the Costa Del
Sol.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention though. I've posted
in it.
