can i edit the info of a .wav so windows detailed view displays the track number? i think this info column is just for .mp3 and other than .wav formats, so i'd have to rename the file names with digits to sort them correctly |

the standard for waves has no tags attatched, thus the only info it has is filename and the sound in it. there are, of course, myriad different of formats of wav, and there probably is one that incorporates tags. |

yea, i could add info in soundforge but it's windows specific, so i tried in windows media player, but without success |
