Trusting flatmates

I guess what I would do is put something near the entry of
my room (like a small bit of paper or string) before I left
the house. If it were in a different location when I came
back (if he accidentally kicked it walking in or if the air
he moved while walking moved it) I would be concerned
because he was in my room, but if all is well when I came
back I'd assume everything was okay...but I'd still do that
for a while until I had built up some trust for him.

On the offchance of foul play, become his lover for
eternity. Then he would only be stealing from himself.

qrter, opchecks - yeah it's a lot of giggery. pretty much
all music (i don't like saying that anymore because things
are getting dodgy with piracy lawsuits and shit)

I lost a 200gb HD only a few months ago. Terrible disaster.
Managed to get most of my stuff back - still after a few
gems though, like Cut Chemist vs Shortkut live @
Futureprimitive soundsession.

As for backing up, i've meant to set up a RAID array since I
replaced that 200gigger, but haven't been arsed or had the
moneyz. Were backups to be a plan to circumvent the pitfall
of having all my stuff nicked, they'd have to be
trans-network backups (like big banks do), and I won't have
the bandwidth for that.

I don't have a DVD-R, and I don't plan on burning all my
shit..

I think, as Anus_Presley says, there isn't much I can do so
I just have to trust him. There's nothing to make me think
that he'll do it apart from the fact that he looks shady
(not just because he's Algerian; there's an extra slightly
shady vibe i got off him).

and what made me suspicious about the ebay thing is, he
doesn't have an awful lot of stuff to sell. So unless he's
wheeling and dealing, which seems kinda impossible on ebay,
I figure he might be using illegitimate means... and it's
just the fact that my shit will be so open to being stolen.

I'm sure nothing will go wrong though. I'm just happy i have
a place to stay, with broadband, in a nice area, and i can't
wait to move out :D!

it's Antony.

but none of the Johnsons (perhaps off on a short,
well-deserved holiday).
