The thing I made was a much smaller individual green ball that went in a circle... the computer must've thought it was too boring and did weird effects without my approval.

I just used paint shop pro's animation software program (about 2nd time I've ever messed with it...) so I don't know what I'm doing... if you have the software it's probably pretty easy to figure out. I want to make something cool, but if the computer will weirdify it what's the point...

It's called "animation shop 2". I don't know where to get it, I'm sure there's other programs too though. There's this guy mp3.com/qray who uses computer glitches (saves his files weird) to his advantage...
