calculator headstone on 2001-03-01 21:31 [#00000660]

hey that was a cool stunt - wot next?

876hgff on 2001-03-01 21:48 [#00000661]

(If it Really is you...)

was that a subtle invite Mr Twin?

I'm too polite to randomly e-mail anyone.

Do you believe it when the Tib. Buddhists say life is all a
dream?

hevquip from mbanahanej on 2001-03-02 01:31 [#00000671]

i believe that what tibetan buddhists mean when they say
that life is a dream is that one must wake up from the
reality they mindlessy plod through and see the world as a
cruel, harsh system of binding suffering.

Scary Bear on 2001-03-03 13:57 [#00000700]

Oh shit, I got an error ,message when I created this subject
so I thought that nothing happened. I think there must be
the same stunt pulled quite a few times around. No worries
it only means that I fucked with peoples head's on a much
larger scale, anyhow what's up people. a/s/l? for the sake
of starting conversation.

Scary Bear on 2001-03-03 14:05 [#00000701]

876hgff: sorry dude if you are asking me if I am Richard the
answers no.

Hevquip: man that is a bad point of view on life, buddhists
are generally happy people and I'm sure they really don't
give a fuck what life is like outside. I can hardly call
myself a buddhist but I meditate and personally I think that
all those guys in orange care about is self improvement.
They are cool because they don't beleive in all this stuff
like posession etc and go by the fact that if they got
nothng to lose they cannot possibly be happier.
Saying that I don't know if everyone works like that coz
life where I live would suck so much without my CD
collection.

hevquip from mbanahanej on 2001-03-03 18:37 [#00000709]

you may think it is a bad point of view on life, but i do
not not. however, buddhists generally see this world as
being a fascade which one must transcend from.

Wich it is! for certain!

life can be compared to a computer game. you start playing
it with your mind on the life you came from, until it all
feels so realistic that you feel you are the caracter in the
game. this is like a child whos in another world at its
first years, until it starts beliving that the "computer
game" (life on earth) is reality!

so when you die, the jump will be like when the game
suddently ends and you open your eyes to a world of
incredibly wider proportions. but more clever then you where
before.....

tell me what you think of this

Scary Bear on 2001-03-06 11:17 [#00000753]

Dude that sounds real nice. I doubt whether it happens but
it would be nice.

I love shit like that though because it gives a much nicer
outlook on life in a way, I mean if you consider your life
to be a "computer game" then you can just say fuck it and
make life as fun as possible. And at the end of the day
you'll b better off for it.

But its this whole thing about the world being a miserable
place that I don't agree with. It's like living in the
Matrix (if you ever saw that film). Do you want to live a
really shit life and see the world for what it actually is,
or on the other hand you can let yourself be completely
mislead and enjoy yourself. When you lie on your death bed
all you got is memories left, you can either look back and
have hated every second of it or you could have got off your
ass and had a wicked time. Even if there are other lives why
not enjoy every one of them right?

Scary Bear on 2001-03-06 11:20 [#00000754]

I think that buddhists would have realised that by now too.

SWAI from Denmark on 2001-03-06 18:24 [#00000768]

always belive in the nice things!

hevquip from somewhere in the u.s. on 2001-03-06 20:37 [#00000771]

in my opinion, there is no need to believe in the nice
things. nice is relative. it all fades away when it comes
time to die. it doesn't matter how you live your life
because it will build up to nothing. why live a "happy" life
when how you live doesn't matter. i don't need to be happy
in life because it wont matter when i die. death is far
greater than life.

ded zero from kenosha wi on 2001-03-07 03:46 [#00000780]

death, in my opinion, is a right given to only those that
earn it through life.

also, my idea on hell: it is ONLY an idea, used to reassure
those that have been wronged by another.

thats my $0.02

Scary Bear on 2001-03-08 12:15 [#00000815]

If death is so much greater than life you obvisouly haven't
lived much dude.

Yeah, memories is all your life will be i the end but that
doesn't mean to say that they are worthless.

So what your saying is that there is no meaning to life?

hevquip from somewhere in the u.s. on 2001-03-08 20:15 [#00000823]

yes, i am saying there is no meaning to life.

think from lincoln,ne on 2001-03-10 00:59 [#00000851]

the MEANING OF LIFE IS: have fun, make the peeps smile,
recycle, listen to music, and not to buy name brand
clothing. p.s. i like target. bye bye bye

Scary Bear on 2001-03-10 18:06 [#00000871]

that makes much more sense

Syllable#five on 2001-03-10 22:11 [#00000874]

Does this make ne sense:

See a drink, drink it. See a cigarette, smoke it. Want
somehting, take it. Feel bad in the morning, fuck it.

Does it?

hevquip from halfway between here and there on 2001-03-10 23:44 [#00000876]

i believe it makes sense because it's nothing matters as to
what you do in life.
