well no, i mean, its just a strange thing to see. in general, the clip is just that, he says "almost all of them that we see are so poor, and they are so black, and this is going to raise lots of questions for people that are watching this story unfold" its just the way he said it. but i believe that he was trying to say what i have repeatedly said myself in conversations with people in the last few days... that how does this look.. to the rest of the world, to see this tragedy where so many of the people are poor black people... its hard not to see it as SOME sort of race issue... even knowing that 2/3rds of the N.O. population is black... but the way he said it is a bit off... "they are so poor, and sooo black..." rather than so MANY poor and so MANY black. in any case, i urge you to check out the other vids on crooks and liars....some really incredible stuff.... |

yes i agree..its interesting... if you look at many of the disturbing scenes of this disaster , and replace the black people with white people, its hard to imagine that things would be playing out similarily. maybe not , i dont know. |
