It's pretty decent. I didn't like the cheesy early 90's
style vocal samples, also there was far too much clipping it
made the whole thing sound nasty. Did you sample augamatic
disport for this?

haha, well I have no idea what Aeon Flux is but I meant the
use of a vocal sample is a bit cheesy :)

I have actually listened to it a few more time today and I
do like the track. The mood of the peice reminds me of the
drum and bass stuff I was listening to around '95, but with
that autechre sound, it is a really nice combination.

Is that stuff done with Reaktor 5? It really nice sounding
(with the exception of the clipping :P)

All in all most enjoyable and more people should download.

me me! ooh ooh! me me me! *downdumping nowishly*

I tried signing up for a second zebox account... well you
have to enter a country and state- a seperate pull down box
for each entry. Only the state one is broken, not providing
anything to select.

soundclick is so stupid, making people log in (forgetting
old passwords often) to download stuff. Iuma has a sucky way
to upload new files, not working well on my browser. Zebox
is excellent but only allows 3 files.

This track is very excellent. You're making robotic sounds
like richard devine almost. At the beginning I thought it
could use some tight beats over the top of everything to
give it a (more) solid backbone (somewhat like otto von
schirach), but keep the rest of the complexity. The 2nd
melody that comes in on top in the middleish makes the thing
awesome, plus the 2nd half in general is awesome with aeon
flux samples .cte
Do you simply record digital cameras/scanners/other
mechanical things.. or do you construct the robo sounds
yourself? I definately like this track a lot.

thanks.

it starts off kinda strange cause its actually a 10 minute
track but i had to cut it in half just to downsize it to fit
on zebox. the beginning is ambience with glitchy beats that
sould allot like pole. this is like the explosive ending TU
MAH NU EP EAUGH!

If you're using Firefox to activate a zeBox account, you
won't be able to because of that problem - you will have to
use I.E. to create the account.

I liked the ambient glitch at the start of the track - I
didn't enjoy the development though: for me, it lost its
abstract charm and sounded, to me, too bogged down and
muddy. I'd like to hear a version with just the first
section.

You'd probably like the other one by gwely, "hco n88" or
something (more ambient).

I thought it might be some sort of firefox problem. It's
also what gives me trouble using iuma.com's upload
interface. I had to switch to firefox because internet
explorer seemed to be crashing my computer. I thought I
could trick it in zebox because it provides the state menu
for a split second after selecting the country (then
disappears)... but after many attempts at a lightening quick
mouse movement and click I was unsuccessful.

The clipping makes it sound good I think. Makes it sound
like it's going to blow your speakers up. I liked it over
all.

Snap - I also tried to be lightningly quick, but failed
miserably - there's a few sites that don't like FireFox :(

I bet it's all part of an internet edition of "you're on
hidden camera"... they probably have a site somewhere with
tons of videos of people looking foolish trying to do that.
