Honest opinion...I moves between radioheadesque and cheese.
To be honest you sound pretty dull and generic.

I don't think the music is bad, but the singer sounds like
he's really bored, which is a shame.

the singing isn't that bad - at least it isn't whiny emo
singing.

i think the production could be a little better... eq the
vocals better. the drums louder, the synth lower...
actually, i don't like the synth-playing so much... it's
too cluttered.

the music isn't really my thing, but it's not bad. nice
work, evolume.

woah, wtf? you have greg sage in your band? on drums? i
guess this is not THE greg sage, but a different one who
plays the drums?

who is greg sage??

evolume you sound like you need a producer and a studio
because what you have, going by the tracks is good but needs
polishing.

thanks for listening!

dull and generic? oh whell.. sad to hear that.

as for production, I did all the producing, if you could
call it that. We recorded in our rehearsal studio, mic'd
the drums using vocal mics. except we recorded the vox in
Troy's apartment. I mixed it all down using Live and
mastered it using soundforge. I admit, i am no pro, but i
try my best. when we can afford it we plan on doing a more
professional recording.

Greg Sage is our drummer. He is also in a local metal band
called Shadowclad. Their music is drastically different
than ours so as a drummer, greg had to tone it down quite a
bit to get our 'dull and generic' sound. Also our Bass
player, Dave, is in a semi popular pop punk band called
Super Deluxe. I guess their claim to fame is they had a
track on the 'King Pin' soundtrack and on the 'Home Alone 3'
soundtrack. Troy and I have been jamming together for
several years and we got this band hooked up about a year
ago.

So yeah, we have fun, drink beer (except for greg) and make
music. We have our first show in October which is pretty
exciting.

thanks for your comments.

christ... well, the real greg sage is the utter genius
behind the late-70's - mid-80's punk rock band, the Wipers.
they were from oregon and had some very famous fans. i
didn't really think a guitarist would be playing drums in
your band, but...

ahh. yeah, he doesn't play any guitar. he always says like,
'i just hit dead animal skins with sticks.'
