i have no idea what the original sounded like but here
goes...

pretty mad start, i liked it.

hmmm, would've been nice if you could've messed about with
the beat a bit more, maybe made the track flow a bit more,
as the constant stop/starts tend to halt that flow.

some of the effects were nice, especially a heavy reverb on
one snare hit quite early on, and some of the panning ideas
:)

mylittlesister

yes i totally aggree, i was just having this conversation
with a friend of mine. I used soundforge, so i had no idea
of timing.

It was good for the freedom factor of it, but it was a shame
too because i would have liked to mess with the beats much
more ;)

it's not bad per se but i feel you could hve been a little
more creative with the material. the production techniques
seem to be very run of the mill.

Kudos for doing stuff with icp. This is the longest i have
ever been able to listen to ny of their material!

Skink

well, with the workflow limitations i created myself with -
( that being soundforge only ) i wanted to hear what the
result sounded like.

I think the next mix ( maybe i will, maybe not but.. ) i
will defintely use acid with soundforge, i would enjoy going
that bit further.

I listen to this and I have no idea whether it's good or
not. it sounds like a lot of Fun with Filters.

I don't really want to hear it again, so I guess that means
I don't like it. could be down to the original though.

you see cygnus, you don't have to go to all the trouble of
print screening and copy/pasting etc.

JivverDicker

i'd like constructive comments, attaching an image of you
deleting it doesn't say much. i dont care if you dont like
it, but i wonder why you dont - not that there isn't many
reasons to why you might dislike it.

i'd just like to add that i've learnt quite a bit from this
mix, obviously the effects side. It seems some of you think
the result was rubbish which doesn't bother me but i'm sad
that you didn't enjoy it but no matter :)

thanks for listening anyway.

he might've hit screen by accident and then saved the
picture by accident, and then posted on here, by accident,
so i don't think you should be so hard on the kid until you
know the full story.

Oh I'm all set to listen to a track billed as an "IDM

i used to like icp when i was around 13, when i didn't know
any other music - i still think their lyrics are quite funny
but i felt like messing with their legendry "mad professor"

Bring out that classic "remix" of Mt St Micheal Marks &

It would sound really good if it had more or less constant
beat (of your own). Because if you want to remix something,
it's not only about changing the original song, you need to
add your own stuff.
