i'm fucking obsessed with this stuff - need more!

looking for more stuff along the lines of legowelt/japanese
telecom/utabi/can't think of any others at the moment.

i've been into stuff like haujobb/depeche mode/front
242/jean michel jarre etc for ages, and still listen to it.
i must have played way too many video games when i was a kid
or something.

suggestions, please kind sirs?

not "real" chiptunes, but chiptune-ish.

doesn't have to be "real" chiptunes, the stuff i seem to
prefer isn't, purely chiptune sounds made with more modern
software/equipment

cool, this is your stuff? think i've heard some of it
before.

yeah, it's mine, and you've probably heard it, as they've
all been spammed here before.

I think you're talking about electro music, not chiptune
music.

i'm talking about both (understand the latter music i
mentioned is electro, though). the stuff i'm currently
obsessed with seems to sit somewhere in the middle.

genres are so shit these days, so hard to categorise things.
unless i'm just retarded and it's obvious as hell.

God damn... you have to hear "penguin love" or "turtles
eating popsicles" by imaginary fantasy... too bad his mp3s
don't exist on the internet anymore probably. It is such
cute emotional videogamish music with perfect cartoony often
mind bogglingly intricate melody, done in a very. It's done
in like, the most logical way music can be organized, with
typical percussion and tones, but still somehow I havn't
heard the style anywhere else and fail time and time again
when trying to replicate it. I bought his mp3.com cd "music
for sleeping hippos".
