I am going to get that, it's not been my cup of tea enough
to make the effort of getting the vinyl volumes, but I will
gladly shell out for a CD, as I liked a lot of the tracks
off of the last two COTWF records, plus a bonus DMX Krew
greatest hits is nice to have too.

i can understand people not liking it,

but

i like it very much, he's got a real good ear for melodies
and always as a coherent theme or ambiance to his songs

slurp

he was the dogs bollocks at the nme night when aphex
headlined, no one noticed when rich started playing as he
was sat to the side playign what seemed to be backround
tracks as is usually played at a live event before the main
act comes on, from then on i've been a fan, plus he's a nice
bloke to deal with

Last time i went to the electrowerks his shit was so
mindblowing after the astrobotnia set it was untrue. Respect
the originator. He knows.

Tango twas there at the astoria, too .
All I remember was rich sulking and coming on to the blankey
blank theme tune.

my mistake that night was trying to take a friend who'd
heard the odd track of aphex's to show him how good he was
and then both of us being underwelmed by what he did that
night, BUT ed dmx was great, truly animated behind his
equipment and played some great tracks

Haven't seen DMX live yet - I'd like to though. I can
imagine it would be a lot of fun. His music almost always
brings a smile to my face.

Re-edits on the Most Requested disc are nice.
Wave material seems more restrained than earlier DMX,
with the exception of William The Conqueror.
'Hidden' sample at the end of the Wave disc is
charming and touching, especially after reading the album
credit.
