is a sampler the correct piece of hardware to create some interesting sounds ?
at present i have had experience with software and a korg ms 2000 which i thought was shit after a short while, hence i sold it
does a sampler allow a combination of sounds to be mangled together and effects added

depends on the sampler. most just simply record the sound and do sequencing
youd be better off with computer software, protools or soundforge, shit like that

Has anyone heard of the VAZ+ analog modeling synthesizer? You can make some really cool sounds out of that.
