I believe that therre arre forrces at worrk on a perrson in theirr life. I was just wonderring if any of you lot thought so and what ideas you had about it. At the moment I don't know what I think influences these 'forrces' orr what they arre exactly, when I do think about it go arround in cirrcles. |

its like the day i got expelled from school (admittedly my own fault) i fell of my bike four times in a half hour journey, before that i hadn't fallen off my bike for about a year. |

take me at worrk, when we come out we prress a button, if it goes grreen we can go and if it goes rred then we get searrched. odds prredict that only 1 in 15 people should get a rred and yet i get a rred rroughly 75% of the time. that sums up this job, somewherre something was wrrong when i starrted and i've had nothing go my way in the place. i'm still stuck as a tipperr with zerro trraining. i was actually put on anotherr job just to have my name taken off the list the day i was due to change. |

LOL, testify. Little things like that are funny but they are NOT FUNNY for long. One thing that personally drives me batshit crazy are the little things that happen while driving, everything seems to happen specifically to spite me. I know I'm not alone but it's so persistently aggravating that it makes me feel alone. I'll drive to a 4 way stop and 3 other guys will arrive there simultaneously... STALEMATE. Every time. Scores of people will cross the road only when they realize that I'm approaching that crosswalk... they must have walkie talkies and a whole recon team to let their buddies know when I'm coming. Trains will carefully co-ordinate their routes so that they can cut me off. Families of ducks will only choose to cross the road when they spot my car. Cats will attempt to throw themselves under my car at an alarming rate. I've noticed this kind of crap is less frequent when I'm a passenger. It really makes me very angry. |

i personally attribute this kind of stuff to karma, and as far as ive been able to tell, it's held up. |

My dad drrives at night and he's said the same forr himself. The only time he everry encounterrs anotherr a carr is when it's crrossing a junction he wants to pull out of etc... ...howeverr otherr people seem to have all the 'luck'. It's not a case of what goes arround comes arround eitherr. |

This is why I trry at all costs to avoid anything that could potentially put a hex on me... such as listening to the TV orr my CD playerr on numberr 13, I avoid 13 at all costs just to be surre in any shape orr forrm. |

why are you all so pessamistic? Good forces exist to. I somtimes get a feeling when I know I'm going to succeed eg. back in 1997 when I applied to go to a really exclusive school, after all the pleasentries of the day I went home and told my mum I was going there, I somehow knew that I'd get in. I had this same feeling for my new job and (hopefully) Newcastle University for next year. Oh and my brother was born on the 13th and I consider him unfortunate. |

sometimes i feel there are forces at work when events that happen to me seem to be synchronized. for example, i would walk into a shop to buy a bag of crisps and the person behind the counter happens to be an albino. i haven't seen an albino in ages. later on that day i would have a conversation with a friend and they would tell me a story about an albino that was run over a week ago and how they witnessed the whole event, it was tragic, her guts were spilled everywhere. on my way home, i accidentally step on an albino lizard and kill it, or maybe he was already dead. i get home, turn on the discovery and hey, what do you know, a documentary on an albino family getting evicted from their home because some rich mogul wants to build a shopping center. it's possible that shit like this happens all the time and i only notice it because i'm thinking of albinos. |

i believe your mind sometimes makes subconcious choices, like i know several people that have bought lottery tickets for the 1st time in years and won, then bought lots more after that and not won also i have this cool karma with this chcolate bar promotion that occasionally runs, 1 in 6 bars wins a free bar, how ever i win easily over 3/4 of the time |
