this is one of my all time favs, every song is amazin. madame george is prob the best, although astral weeks is also awesome and the way young lovers do is one of the catchiest songs ever written. its a shame none of the rest of his albums are in this style. |

Great album. Although this is sort of off-topic because it sounds nothing like Astral Weeks or Moondance, anybody like Them? He was way balls-to-the-wall. |

When I was a kid, when I first actually saw Van, I was shocked that he wasn't black. I don't think white guys can usually sing that soulfully. Sorry to stereotype, though. |

Van the Man's okay. Not really my sort of thing usually, though he goes very well with a cup of tea and a joint. Saw him live once and wasn't impressed at all though. Complete lack of energy or mood. |
