I'm not sure what you're going to use this for.. why not just output sound from the computer as sound and avoid straining the comp?
It's probably a neat gadget, but if they're more expensive than regular mixers, I don't see the point...

with a multioutput- or two soundcards you can mix two mp3s... i think
