ordered mine. wonder where it is actually. how long does
warpmart usually take? i'm guessing mine should be quicker
cos i'm in the uk no?

if you're in uk it would mean you'd get it the next day..it
takes me about 3-5 days. so if you got your dispatch note it
should be there any minute now :)

not released yet so it will probably be delivered the
weekend before the official release date which is what tends
to happen with Warp although sometimes it is a week before.

Why is it limited to 2000 copies? How is that good for them?

i think its just to make it seem a lot more "exclusive"
therefore people will rush out and buy it more quickly

ah bollocks, youre right. released 22nd august. fuck.

whats the point in doing that? making people pre-order 2
weeks in advance.
pfffffffft.

well anyways, i recieved my copy tonight, and let me tell
you it is decent. noisy and dancable at the same time. i
think the winner on here is naks 11 (mono). it starts off in
a similar fashion to a couple of the later analord tracks
(strange off beat noisiness) but then breaks away and really
gets you going! but the rest of the tracks are killer as
well, definitely a worthy purchase, i'm sorry if you didn't
get one. i'll sell mine on ebay in ten years for 20x the
retail value so you can have one.

sound effects these days. Not proper music with tunes an
words an' 'at.

gone are the days that you'd put on a record and someone
would ask "ooh, what's this, it's got a nice beat" and you
couldn't even tell them and you'd have to hand them the
recordsleeve and point out the tracktitle and WHEN DID THAT
START TO HAPPEN all these fancy sleeves with designs and
actual information about the record GONE are the designed
off-white sleeves with just one designed black dot in the
right designed corner I mean it's all gone to the dogs.

I can actually, and this is quite amazing, remember a time
when The Designers Republic still meant something.

oh, people would be crowding the internert, CROWDING IT to
buy those glimmery huge posters with some kind of
computer-generated slightly off-center mathematically
correct wire-model for 40 quid a pop.

They've got a good retrospective show on in sheffield at the
moment. Bundesbank have bought a massive part of sheffield
and are doing loads of tampering that might be nice with
TDRs help? I don't know.

back on topic, i assume if warp had sold out of this record,
they would have taken down the link for buying it from their
website?

its just that i have ordered myself a copy, don't want to be
dissapointed and not receive it (even though i am positive i
will be dissapointed with it when i hear it).

I get the same thing up here in the north. A couple of miles
up and it's Scotland. Last time I went to Glasgow I tried to
get a burger at Burger King and I had no idea what the guy
at the till was on about. I had to guess based on experience
at more intelligable fast food boutiques. He could have
given me an elk and mayo burger, overcharged and short
changed me and I'd never have known.

Usually their system removes items from stock when it goes
in your basket and keeps them off if you pay for the order.
So stock control is live and up to the minute. At least
that's been my experience. So if it says it's available it
should be. Unless they did a shoddy pissed up stocktake.

crazy Viking talk, 2 miles up it's Gaelic. I speak with a
normal northern accent, what's going on?

Don't worry, they are not accurate representatives of
Glasgow folk! One BK in the "toon" for instance is
completely staffed by Care In The Community retards!

I too struggle to understand what is being uttered from
their dribbling spazmoid mouths, so I can empathise
entirely...

That's quite logical actually. I have difficulty
understanding the staff at the MacDonalds on the estate
where I work. I guess it's cos they employ vacant 16 year
olds who've been ordered to get a job by their mum "or you
can get out and fend for yourself!". They haven't learned to
speak properly at that age yet.

I think I'll leave your mix downloading and listen tomorrow.
I needs to go to bed!

i've been off eating, so now i shall respond to the previous
query on whether or not the tracklisting had undergone the
insiduous task of being rearranged in accordance to the
proper sequence mentioned henceforth. the tracklisting, as
labeled on the twelve inch vinyl record, is as follows:

a side: lfo
1. flu-shot [kringlan]
2. pathfinder

b side: afx
3. 46 analord-masplid
4. naks 11 [mono]

being that i cannot recall what arrangement these tracks
were previously listed in by the paternal owners warp
recordings, i can say that when referencing the track "naks
11 [mono]" in my previous posting, i thusly refer to the
currently aforementioned track number four.
