I still havn't got the album yet, but I've downloaded most
of the tracks and I think it's running neck and neck with
Children

i think geogaddi is a little bit more advanced than music
has the right to children. so geogaddi is definitly better
(but not so much)

my first boc, but it's the best album i've bought since
siamese dream by my beloved smashing pumpkins, back in '95.

absolutely unmissable!!

i have the regular version, are there extra tracks on the
limited version?

offline noteelektric from paris (France) on 2002-02-22 19:58 [#00097263]

Oh, um... how do i edit my user name, i was stupid enough to
not put a space between note and elektric.

IMO there were some extra artworks

i cant beleive i've paid 25 pound for it from warpmart,
still havent got it yet, gagging for it.

whats it like, the triple gatefold vinyl? anyone got it?
any other goodies with your order?

Yeah phiz I have it on vinyl, the sound quality is
amazing, I think boc's analogue synths just needs to be
heard on vinyl, I don't know... maybe its just me.

I didn't order it from warpmart tho, so i don't know about
the extras...I would imagine stickers etc...

today i listened to the vinyl edition. it's like a double
album, but when you open it you found one record in the
right side and two records in the left side. the third
record is really cool cause it's one sided and on the other
side is something which looks like on the record the nasa
sent to space with voyager (not star trek)

xanatos, do you agree?

Yeah shortcircuit,

Magic Window is just an engraving of a naked family, i tried
to play it but it was just a bunch of clicks of the
engraving scraping the needle.

i bought it today and i've had it for about 6 hours now and
i didnt listen to it yet cuz my expectations are so freaking
high because of you guys. i'm kinda scared cuz i just bought
it without listening in the store, and i only heard 2 tracks
on the radio. it cost a shitload of cash too but then again,
no other cd cover looks as nice as this one. i think i need
some more beer and some pot, i cant wait, but i can. *lost*

geogaddi is fucking wicked.
at first i thought it was ok, but it gets better with each
listen, and now that i've listened to it like 20 times i'm
totally in love with it!
my favorite tracks are prolly The Smallest Weird Number,
1969, Alpha and Omega, Over the Horizon Radar, and Dawn
Chorus.
but they're all so good!

I agree its awesome and I havent listened to anything else
since buying it, but...I miss the little suprises that were
in MHTRTC, there arent that many moments when they play one
little thing that they never repeat and youre almost like
"whoa, did I really jsut hear that?" The songs are great, I
think the two albums are about even.

Taoist...You and I think alike my friend....

Here is what I was thinking today...(I hate to use ALL the
drug refrences)...
When you listen to MHTRTC it is like being on goood
acid....Your really not too sure whats around the corner,
and like you said, you are amazed at how many "little
things" you can hear and sense...questioning if they were
real or not....
On the other hand,
Geogaddi is like a nice shroom trip on a cool sunny
afternoon....You always smile and there are more colors than
ever...The high it gives is different in many ways, yet
RIGHT away gives you that same sense of glorious "comfort
and inner calm" as the first.(MHTRTC)

BOth expierences are ones to cherish and come along very
rarely. Like the drugs, MHTRTC and Geogaddi both will change
you and have you looking at EVERYTHING differently....

I know I am ranting...sorry...Ill stop.....

LONG LIVE BOC!!!!!!!!

Eh...BoC is overrated here, I think. Good music, but not
fucking great stuff. Same way SAWII is overrated...

Geogaddi, I think is better than Music has the Right
though...just better, powerful songs.

I beg to differ. I really like SAWII, but I don't consider
it great. Geogaddi I place among the most moving albums
that I've ever experienced. But that's a just the
difference between out emotional states. I think it would
be more accurate to say that Geogaddi doesn't do the same
thing for you as it does to others. Everyone has very
different and unique experiences.

be cause I asked them to hold it for me... I can't wait
though, I'm so excited!!!
