will that thing build a cue sheet with titles from the
stream? I want to have a bath and listen, and check what
tracks are what when I get out.

Glen Velez - Second Wind is sounding pretty good. I like the
use of sounds

are you being serious? :/

I listen to just about everything including the most minimal
and the most maximal. Including super experimental.

That sounded like i could have done that by tea bagging
various things

Dick Raaijmakers - filmmuziek-1:mechanical
motions(1960)(rev.1996)

This is actually more interesting and has more going on.

Is this really from 1960?

yes. Philips had a kind of soundlab (a bit like the
Radiophonics Workshop) where a couple of Dutchies spent a
lot of time experimenting with sound.

a lot of it has been released by Basta as a 4-cd set called
"Popular Electronics" (see The Sound Hole).

the foobar thing writes a single mp3 and a cuesheet with
track positions and titles, the winamp plugin lets you open
a cue and fills the playlist with seperate tracks

but my first question was "are you being serious?" i assumed
that was your answer to that.

if i knew more about the actual experiments it would help. i
will google it though. I was assuming it was some nowadays
stuff which would make it less interesting.

to see and find that it was from over 40 years ago i am more
intregued and respect that stuff

I remember one terrible evening, maaaaaaaaaany years ago and
my, at best unsociable, parents had the neighbours over,
unwisely, this is south London suburbia I'll add, Abigail's
Party territory, and I was sitting on the stairs listening
to this heady world of adults and whisky and nibbles, and
the conversation turned to music, and this bloke from next
door said "You know who's going to be big, that woman who
sings with Phil Collins on "Separate Lives"... then the
conversation went onto the Rolling Stones, "I never liked
them," said my Dad, ok so far, but "...they never had a good
beat."

The next 20 years I've spent wondering is he right, or was
he just bluffing?
