which one would you vote for???
explain why you would dislike or like one more than the
other.

i personnaly love lp5... its my fave electro album of all
times... it took me a while to really appreciate it in the
past. But now, every time i listen too it. i love the
whole thing intencely... ep7 is also a perfect album. but
melody, sound and production wize... i prefer lp5.
allthough its pretty close.

see, what I don't get about you, is that you spend a lot of
time fussing over tridenti and what he posts, regularly
attacking him - yet you still ask him to upload a large file
for you through yousendit in another thread.

I can't get behind that.

to be fair, I also can't get behind the fact that tridenti
actually then takes the trouble to try and do this for you.

I uploaded the Warp 7 year glitch for him out of the
goodness of my heart, last week.

I just felt he might feel like returning the favour. I've
been nice(ish) to him since. Even talked to him once or
twice on slsk.

Then i post the thing at the top of this message, directed
at chihiro, and he takes offense (obviously not knowing what
"imitating" or "punishable" mean, or something) and tells me
to shut the fuck up.

hence he is a little italian shit, and i wasn't out of order
for asking him to upload those videos for me. QED.

Alright, I think this thread was initialised as a comparison
of two Autechre releases, not based on a controversial XLT
member.

Anyway, LP5 gets my vote as far as overall melody and colour
throughout the album. However, I do like some trax from EP7
as well, 'ccec' in particular.

It is quite a dilemma, really. I love both of those records
so well, man. EP7 took me longer to get, but I think that
it wins out, ultimately. Reasons why? I am glad you asked,
my nigga. I recently fell in irrepressible love with
"Maphive 6.1," and I have been focussedly re-listening to
EP7 for that reason; also, there is always "Rpeg" which is
one of my favourite Ae tracks of evor.

However LP5 is also fantastically. I think that I have
slightly less of a taste for FM synthesis. The part where
the brushed snares come in on "Maphive 6.1" always gets me.
Hurray for Aweteshor.
