Just wanted to let you know that I finished a new animated music video. The genre is rock/pop, but there are visuals that could interest some people here. PS: there is a very small reference to an Autechre track name hidden in one of the environments. Props to whoever can figure out the name. Thanks. |

That video is very clever, very nicely done. I can't spot the Autechre reference and the song is beyond awful, but, very nice. |

don't do the quicktime, sorry* i use real player and quicktime alternates. they work charmingly well without infiltrating your system like advertsing bug virus rat etc |

very well made vid ka. i like the subtle things like the white cubes spinning in the background and little effects going on on the walls etc. You seem to be a master of effects but as for being captivated for the duration of the song i was not. Special FX are everywhere these days and it takes more than candy to make something i will watch all the way through. Neverthe less. This clip contains some outstanding work. I also liked when the camera moves thru the audience as static neon outlines. |

pf: thanks, and it's okay that you didn't catch the idea. It was a simple idea that it's fine for you to catch or not. not a tremendous amount of plot. The idea/feeling that the band asked me to convey was that of a singer unsure of his place in the band, but finding it is really his "home". Hm. I'm quite indifferent. The video was better than the music, but all those effects didn't appeal to me. And the most annoying thing was this singer. I'd smack his face. |
