Alexander Scriabin's piano sonatas are pretty good if you're
looking for something a bit busy. But for something moody
and spare, I just got Silent Songs by Valentin Silvestrov
and I'm blown away. I can't stop listening to this guy.

It's probably not similar, but I love Debussy and Ravel's
piano pieces.

i really dig John Tilbury's interpretations of Morton
Feldman... Triadic Memories, and For Bunita Marcus are both
worth hunting down.
