I have my Micro modular and i need to know how to connect
to my laptop. I know about all the PC to Midi stuff, but i
dont have a gameport , port, on my laptop only printer and
monitor, and another onme with IOIO written next to it. I
have a 410 with Midi in and outbut i cant seem to get that
working. Is there a PC to MIDI lead that comes through the
printer port ? or something?

My laptop model is HP compaq nx5000

You will have to buy a USB to MIDI adapter, there is no way
of using any of the other existing ports of the laptop.

The USB to midi really is your best option ad you can get
them for under £20.

they do but i think they require a 8 pin midi adaptor
