Is there more than one way to make torrent files? I d/led
the completedir program but it won't run on my computer -
maybe because I'm running NT? So I was hoping there was
another way / program to do it.

thanks, Gvarek -- I downloaded this and I can drag files
into it but it does not seem to want to actually
create torrent files... please help me!

if you're really lazy, most of the gui torrent clients can
do it without any work; try azureus if you're on some weird
platform.

this frickin TorrentSpy doesn't seem to work -- it says
'drag files in to create torrent' so I do just that, but it
does fuck all !

the thing is that you have to register your file to a chosen
tracker

often you'll also see trackers built into the client, and
crappy protocol hacks let it work even if you're NAT'ed..
