listeining.... the pads are nice, maybe they should be
louder than all the other sounds, i dunno... the exp sound-y
stuff might sound nice some heavy reverb. i dunno. the pads
are very nice.

I think the texturing is quite nice, but it doesn't work
well with the melodic part.

it feels too much like two seperate things put together - on
the one hand the textured sounds on the other the clean
melodic parts.

I think the challenge of making textured music is to combine
the two more or less organically.

you could try texturing the melodic parts themselves.

ixten: thanks but what does "the exp sound-y" mean?

qrter: i made the soft melody with the harsh "noise" because
i guess its what i like, probley not the most ideal thing to
spam. I also thought if i post just texture i don't think
(apart from a handful of people) anybody would like it.

gay_dad: thanks

gvarek: thanks

well, I can see why you're using the melody, but now the
texturing is just something extra, it doesn't blend very
well with the melody.

what I was saying is you could try using more textured
sounds directly in the melody - so it would still be that
melody, but also textured.
