.. made by the BBC.

"In part one of our Time for Heroes series, Queens Of The
Stone Age frontman and Pixies fan Josh Homme charts the
return of one of the most influential bands in alternative
music.

The programme features the notoriously interview-shy Pixies
first UK broadcast interview in 13 years, plus contributions
from Nine Black Alps, the Raveonettes, the Liars, producer
Gil Norton and journalist Steve Sutherland."

listenable here.

Nice... I bought Trompe Le Mode today. Just getting
acquainted with the band again following news that they are
doing a new album next year.

The Breeders are great too (Pixies bass/vocalist Kim Deal's
band).
