well when he supported bjork at her concert, he basically
terrorised her fans by playing machine gun noise for an
hour. The answer to your question is that there is no point
in her bringing out an album as Aphex has basically mentally
wiped out her fan base.

*and for the record Aphex Twin is NOT a band, he's a solo
artist. :)

It Ep :(((((

bjork's concert where she had Aphex supporting, may be he
was as DJ Smojphace, I can't remeber. Anyway he basically
played machine gun noise for an hour. The fans said it
ruined the whole experience for them and that the y weren't
able to enjoy fully the bjork aspect of the gig.

track, with br's music. unfortunately i got only concert
version of it from 2001.

why are you complaining? live versions are usually better
than the studio ones.

for instance I have a live recording of Orbital's Doctor
Who
and it is really amazing whilst when I heard the
studio version it was at a slowed down tempo and wasn't
quite as good-still a fantastic track though.

when you say it hasn't been released...do you know if it was
ever recorded properly. It may have just been an original
demo played live and the idea was scrapped. I can't find it
on my two P2P programs, only a Mike Monday mix.

in one of interveiws with aphex he says that it was some
money problem, like: bogdan was supposed to take just a
little fraction of track's profit and aphex said he should
take a half or something like that.

topic.

Well its not got anything to do with Apehx, is my point. But
it doesnt matter.

I wish to hear this track though I really do. If they can't
agree on a financial arrangement then why not just host the
mp3 on one of their websites or something, the silly goons.

i have the studio MP3 of this track, HAHAHAHA
the track is ace! i wonder why th

it starts off with bogdan talking through som crappy
microphone, one can hear the hdd spinning in the
background:

"hello, my name is bogdan raczynski. today, björk is gonna
take you to a place within her heart, while i take you to
outer space..." yada yada...

then traditional bogdan beats and sounds emerge, over björk
vocals.

i like it more than the 'new' version on Medùlla.

I love that tune. Didn't know anyone had mixed it, though
thought it would happen. I didn't know that there was an EP
either.

I have nightmares every night. Before I read the lyrics, I
thought that where she sings 'we all have earnt a lightness'
(I think) was 'we all have earnt our nightmares' - it sent
shivers down my spine.

Also, when she sings 'carry my [something - shit, can't
remember]' at the beginning of the second verse she sounds
like an ANGEL. It's incredible, orgasmic almost. It makes me
want to marry her!

Shit perhaps I'm getting a bit too personal here. Hey ho!

the original Who Is It was the one she did with bogdan, back
when vespertine was released.. she thought it was too brutal
to release so she did a new version, which is now on
medùlla..

a feeling of katharsis possibly?

I had a similar emotion when I first heard Jean-Michel
Jarre's original version of Souvenir of China and
_gvarek_ and I discussed it in depth in a thread which
unfortunately I can't find. I don't understand it very well
though he knows a lot about it.

Its very powerful, never had it with a vocal song however
unless the chants in Arcane Voice by Amethystium
count lol.

tbh I'm not a big Björk fan.
