a pusher/twin collaboration could be potentially awesome!

indeed, i'd be wicked. to my knowledge they've only done one
official track together.. freeman willis.. or what was its
name.. it was pretty slick.

kraftwerk to be crygenically preserved for the next few
generations. (that or they'd prefer to be turned into
cyborgs, phycologically they believe their at "one" with
their computers already).

more likely prediction JMJ will sort himself out and revert
back to his old style and thus come out of this silly
musical mid-age crisis he's having.

that track has mighty punch. i dislike most songs on that
compilation though.

i wouldve picked.

pfffff, listen to it again

i image tom and richie have done millions of tracks together

i find the tracks to be very cheesy and weak. the songs
sound so much different than what the artist usually sound
like (in a bad way). whatever :) i much prefer the
braindance coincidence + it was cheaper.

I agree.

But Oxygene 7-13 was excellent, as was Metamorphosis.

i'm starting his mid-age crisis with sessions 12. but yeah
those two albums are his last greatest works to date.

- more analord

- grinning ape gets signed on rephlex or warp, rapes paris
hilton and gets massive media coverage

- squarepusher releases an album where he tries to sing like
a combination of frank sinatra and a very mellow ian curtis
in most of the tunes

- aphex goes undercover for the next missy elliott album

- venetian snares releases his own collection of exotic and
spicy chip-dip

- the world ends after jega releases variance

JMJ in a crises??, no, no, no (Geometry of Love!!!)

I predict:
new Sigur Ros, Opeth, BoC, Mike Oldfield, and a new
compilation of rare Cocteau Twins singles. All in autumn,
the bankruptcy is near.

Also: a stunning new career of gay_dad, new users to appear
in this year: gay_mom, gay_sister, and gay_brother.

I thought Drunken Mastah was behind the camel, or do you
mean behind in a more phisical format?

_gvarek_:Geometry of Love was boring, so boring that JMJ
himself had to say it was his attempt of elitism, the creme
de la creme of french hierarchy. (he knew we would all hate
it and not being able to sustain another setback like
sessions, said that if we didn't understand it was because
we weren't high enough the social ladder: what bollocks) and
aero was just him re-selling his old tracks so that they
could be listened to on the latest sound technology. Nice
Rooster!

Geometry of Love part 1 and 2 are the best things Jarre made
since Ox 7-13. Period. Sessions is jazz, heavy and
improvised, a successful side project, pieces 1, 2, and 4
are v.good. Both releases are a step forward. Jarre doesn't
need to strive for elites, he's already there.

they aren't step forwards so much as horizontal steps, he
asn't done anything worth doing and he would have better
spent his energies on slowly evolving and developed his
signature style.
Maybe it was a shock to the system that I haven't recovered
from.
