I dreamt of a new suggestion for the Messageboard this morning - no idea why - but it was something like this -- when you open a thread, the number of current posts is memorised, so that when you next open the thread, instead of the first post being at the top, the last post from your previous post-visit is there. therefore, if you open up a thread and it has 40 posts, the next you open it, it will start at #40 - with the option, of course, to scroll back to the beginning if you wish to refresh your memory. Just an idea to save a little time on the middle-mouse-button. |
