Since i'm no hardware-wizard, I thought i'd start out with this little baby.
It will be shipped to med in 7 days, and i'm looking very much forward to playing with it.
I also ordered a Behringer DX-626 crappy smalltime DJ-mixer, since I need a mixer, but I don't want any major investment in one right now. I'm waiting to I one day can afford the Pioneer DJM-600
I think I will use the SP-303 mainly for soundfx, but also for running equipment through it, since it has a lot of capable fx.

I have been considering one of those sp404's that cygnus posted a while back. Having a portable sampler is so appealing. My computer is too big, as is my mpc2000.
As far as mixers are concerned, do you need a dj mixer? If your looking for affordable, my behringer UB1002FX cost me $125 new, Canadian, and it gives me 4 sterio chanels, two mono channels, with microphone preamp, phantom power and one effect send as well as 99 different effect presets (including some really warm sounding reverb rooms [I don't care if theyre only presets, there is 40 different reverb presets, I would like to see anyone catch the preset if I am using the reverb in the piece of gear, because its a fucking reverb room and I could program it on my own if I wanted to])
On a side note, I am fucking stoked about how easy and usefull hardware feels after getting used to it. Now I am on the lookout for some effects. First getting a KAOSS pad and then some dynamics processing and filter rackmouts.
I'm out. Peace.

AND YES, i'm putting in the 64MB of memory in my SP-303 too
