wrote the music of the Amelie Soundtrack.

Really sweet film, accompanied by some beautiful music,
especially the piano works "Comptine d'un Autre été" and
"La Valse d'Amelie (version piano)"

I don't really dig the accordion music on it though.

Does anyone know what other piano music Tiersen has written,
and where I could get it? I'm especially interested in your
opinions on his music, marlowe.

this probably isn't the same guy, but the Old Boy soundtrack
sometimes reminded me of the amelie-soundtrack, so maybe you
should check that out too? check out the movie anyway,
'cause it's REALLY FUCKING A CLASS GREAT!

I think he did the soundtrack to "Goodbye, Lenin!" A couple
of the same piano pieces from amelie are used, actually...
great film, nice musics.

i think hes released about 3 or 4 non soundtrack albums,
much of them would later become the amelie soundtrack.

and listen to it.!.

I love those piano pieces on Amelié soundtrack. I tried to
find them on the net but I couldn't find them anywhere... I
nearly ordered an expensive sheet music book.
I wish I could get my hands on them too.
Cause I can't play that well by ear.

Other pieces of Yann Tiersen I haven't heard. At least I
think I haven't.

he's one of my favourites. i've got all his albums (except
for one live one). his albums vary very much. some are
almost strictly piano, like the good bye lenin soundtrack,
and some are more string based.
