Patriarchy?

I was looking through the list of members of the message
board yesterday and found that nearly everyone is a man.

Music really is a male obsession no? Like not just a
passion, but in a trainspottery way. We have our top 10s and
top 5s like the guys in High Fidelity. Scary.

How many of us are single and still live with out mums?

most of the same music thank you very much..hmm..your
archetype isn't that way off mark but it's good to put a
chink in this theory by stating my own situation (hehehe

Flea

I too am in a long term relationship but alas my partner
hates the stuff I play. She does love Avril 14th however.
But then how could any human not.

I must throw out her folk CDs

i do have a friend who is a girl and likes good music. not
so much IDM but other things like dnb and other also mostly
ale dominated music scenes

the thing with girls is that they have no sense of taste
outside clothes...‡

my girlfriend is off to see jamaroqui play in manchester on
tues. as you may tell, she doesnt dig much of the same
music-although she likes some of the more chilled
stuff-especially global communications 76.14. and she
thought that there were two people in 'the band aphex
twin'....mmmnnnn

women may like the same music as men but some women find the
whole idea of chatting with other people on the internet a
bit sad - like my girlfriend for example.
