What's it like living in London at the moment?

I don't mean to be exclusionary or seem to be ignoring the
danger that all britons are facing at the moment, but
I figure if there's hysteria and unease to be tapped, it'd
be best to look to London.

my town is a commuter town for london, and there's been some
bomb scares here - i think mainly due to over-vigilance and
slight panic.

in fairness, there were bombs and shootings on a daily basis
here in Northern Ireland for 25 years. if it happens in
England the press go banannas, i'm not saying it's should be
normal or that it's not news worthy, just pointing out how
tremendously London/England centric the news is.

nah...i'm revelling in my status as unemployed bum at the
minute but i'm off soon to scotland to willingly throw
myself back into the fiscal manacles of higher education.

People are more annoyed than anything. Luckily i only get on
the central line and the docklands light railway so i
haven't been affected travel wise.. there is definately a
weird vibe on the trains though - i wouldn't like to be an
asian with rucksack..

I'm a londoner and I have to say it has become the single
most annoying thing especially when you find yourself having
to walk home because a station has been closed due to bomb
scares. At least if I knew why they were trying to blow
us up then I might not be so pissed off.

First chav culture and now this!!
