I just wish it didn't have to have such a fucking retarded
name. I'm already used to living in fear of my government.

surprise surprise. and now, keeping in line with everything
else that has happened in the past five years, what was once
terrible has been made much worse.

they looove the power - they love it: "If you don't like
it, come up and speak against it," said Rep. Bernie Sanders,
I-Vermont, who sponsored the amendment. "But it has passed
once and it would likely pass again."

why doesn't he come right out and say, "go fuck
yourselves."

and now a word from the beloved democrats, our alternative,
our mainstream left (aka conservative/moderate/right-wing):
"The Patriot Act was an effort to answer the most
difficult question a democracy faces: How much freedom are
we willing to give up to feel safe?"

how much freedom... dirty, dirty cunts.

remember right after 9-11, all we heard was "they hate are
freedom, we cant let them shake us" etc?

Well, great, giving up our freedom, and letting them shake
us to change our policy.

I bet the terrorists are proud.

I like how being safe is out of the question, so it's
all about how much freedom we're willing to lose to
feel safe.

My first word was 'Allah' (I kid you not). I am very glad I
was born in the UK in '82, rather than in America '05: I'd
probably have been thrown down a well or something...

"you kerry voters, you democrats also voted for this

Everybody voted for the Patroit Act the first time around-
it was political suicide not to. Who the fuck did you vote
for?

Kerry's line in the debates was that the Patriot Act was a
fundamentally positive tool, but it needed rewriting and
editing because it did conflict the basic principles of the
CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES. Or as Republicans call it
"toilet paper"

there was one democratic senator who voted against the
patriot act the first time. besides, "political suicide"
isn't even close to being a legitimate excuse for selling
out civil rights. there's no excuse for any of this shit.

how bout "greed"? Is that a good excuse?

No?

How about "ignorance" then?

there are obviously motivations, but no excuses.

Well Mr. Kasinsky alot of things have changed since they
arrested you in your log cabin. Democrats not only have to
walk through the minefield laid out by the moral majority
and corporate America, they also have to worry about being
called out as pussies by the neocons.

It may be fucked, but its all we have to work with until
some idealists such as yourself are willing to slap a little
tnt in their rucksack and sneak into the Crystal Catherdral,
Wal Mart world headquarters, or Karl Rove's trunk-
keyboard warriors ain't cutting it.

you're making the mistake of assuming that democrats haven't
changed with the republicans over the years. they aren't
the alternative party, they're part of the problem. their
moderate stances are why the republicans get away with all
of this shit. if they wanted to call the right out, they
would have, but they don't because they are part of the
corporate whore political world. your view is exactly
what's wrong with this picture. the idea that there could
be no real alternative is self-defeating.

keyboard warriors? if i've struck a nerve, dennis miller,
you can go fuck yourself.

I'm pretty sure the Dems have called the right out
repeatedly- Why do the Republicans "get away with all of
this shit" as you so eloquently put it?

Well junior let me tell you- THEY OWN THE FUCKING STORE!

and let me further hone your blunt, contentious mind on the
fact that the Democrats are the only fucking alternative you
have. I know we're all gay godless baby-killers, but if you
have any hope of having a job, health care, affordable
energy, or and end to the hemorraging in Iraq- grab your
curette, get highlights and pull the kids out of sunday
school 'cus there's more than one war on.

don't be surprised if in the next election, you get a
massive 'terrorist' attack, that cause your nation to be in
a state of emergency and forces the elections to get
suspended.
