Is Squarepusher really the Aphex Twin? (I bet this is old news already!) Evidence: 1) The beats on SP Selection 16 sound like the ones on Richard D. James and track no. 5 has that indefinable Aphex quality to it. 2) RD. James likes to use loads of different alter egos - e.g. Diceman, polygon/caustic window, etc., etc., Can anyone say for sure because I'll buy all of SP's albums if it's really Aphex.... |

well, i promise you that squarepusher is not richard d. james. squarepusher is a man namned tom jenkins. and why do people always mention the diceman when refering to other aphex aliases? wasn't it just one song he did on some compilation with that name? |

Oh that's a shame. Tomorrow World sounds JUST like an Aphex tune to me, mind... I still harbour suspicions. You're not the Twin are you? If only the Twin would release the other Polygon Window album he mentioned all my cool tune shortage problems would be solved... Would knowing that Squarepusher is Aphex Twin or vice versa make you buy less or more albums? If you like it, buy it - it really doesn't matter who it's by, as long as the music is good. |

yeah the diceman was a song on the first artificial intelligence compilation i tink - tom jenkinson sik tom jenkinson ie squarepusher /chaos ad richard d james is afx aphex twin - caustic window - polygon window - and he can't play kick ass bass as far as i know anyway! :) |
