Skytree - "Knotwork" on Earstroke

Earstroke Presents:

Skytree - Knotwork

this album was originally released on TavCOM in July 2004,
then TavCOM went down along with a great many wonderful
releases. This has long time been a personal favorite, and I
am glad to see it back up and available for the public to
enjoy.

Skytrees first album, "Knotwork" is a mix of acoustic and
electronic elements; boundless as mountain scapes, lively as
a fresh water canal. The piece seems to segue from autumn to
spring while emitting a constant warmth from the heart and
soul that went into its creation.

Thanks for listening, folks.
Peace,
Luke Hazard and the Earstrokers

i'll check it out next week. btw, that last wisp album was
surprisingly good, i think if it had come out in 1998 it
would have gotten a proper release and would be seen as a
minor classic at least. hope it doesn't get lost in the
deluge of net music...

What do you mean 'surprisingly good'? what were you
expecting?

jivverdicker, you really don't care what i mean. you just
can't resist calling attention to flaws that you perceive in
other people, to divert your own attention from your own
flaws. good luck with that, btw.

however, generally when one downloads a group of mp3's by an
unreleased artist (of which there are thousands and
thousands) on a strictly mp3 (or cdr) netlabel (of which
there are too many to count), one is expecting a release
that is, at best, average. one is genuinely "surprised"
when one comes across a net release of very high quality.
hope that clears it up for you.

Actually, I was very interested but now I'm bored from your
overblown, rambling reply.

" i think if it had come out in 1998 ...." nice
thinly veiled put down, I think you secretly hate all this
ear sludge as much as I do.

be nice.

hmm, a gay_dad and a bellend in one thread, and neither has
much of anything to say about the subject of the thread, all
boring and no interesting. well, at least one of them has a
reasonable facsimile of an inflammatory, knee-jerk, sour
grapes opinion.

observing "in a blue face" sounds like 1998 is not a put
down; if it used everly brothers styled vocals i might
suggest it sounds like 1958. the style is what it is.

as for skytree, i'll listen when i get back to the broad
band...

you thick idiot.

i imagine jivverdicker's actually been muttering his last
post to himself for the past few years...

give it a chance, guys. this is one of my personal favorite
net releases of all time. if you just tried it out, i think
most of you would like it. lets just calm down and enjoy
some free music.

:D

Do your descriptions really need to be so incredibly corny?

it. I'll give it another try now.

The Wisp album is great, that's right.

What's with your new stuff, busy with it, or finished??

And what about The Suction Cups?

between running the label, sifting through all the new
Suction Cups material, and finishing my album, i have my
hands full! things will be moving rather slowly, but i will
share the results as soon as they take form. thanks dude

Can't wait. Always nice to see/hear (from) you.

(Skytree album: it's decent, but not my pair of shoes; won't
keep it.)
