i love it soo much.
i mess around with it all the time.
it is quite spooky some times too.
the sound really stalks you around the room. my friend gave
a quick yow into the mic, and i fucked around with it for a
sec and all of a sudden out of a sound rush came a woman in
a demonic voice screaming "more".
it was one spooky occasion.

anybody screw with grany?

Hi Zombiekev and Co.

Ive messed around with Reactor's granulator and the things
it comes up with are trully wild. My computer isnt powerful
enougth to have my sequencer and Reactor working at the same
time (soon to be sorted out) so Ive only been messing around
with it...so far >:)

I dont know if this correct Astar but this type of synthisis
only became feesible when really powerfull computers started
to come about although the theory has been around for years.
The only hardware I can think off that uses granular
synthisis is the Roland VP-9000 but it uses it to stretch
sounds across octaves not mangel sound, as far as I know.
The prices seem to have dropped (well in here Blitey they
have). Hope this helps M8.
