haven't heard him mentioned much, sort of a cross between wolfgang voigt's gas project and stars of the lid, with no kick or bass pulse. if you like that sort of thing, you'll probably love this.
album out on cco now, has anyone heard it? it's being brought to my house by ups as we speak. you can hear tons of mp3 stuff at his site, but it's not quite as potent as the album. there are streaming samples of the recent album at the site as well.

I like him. Especially Yara released on Autoplate. Very good, the first piece is brilliant! He makes more minimal techno oriented stuff as krill.minima, here, and also on Crossways.

Mistake: he makes minimal as Falter, and krill.minima is responsible for more ambient-dub approach.

a lot less noisy than tim hecker i think. smoother and less complicated mix, lots of orchestral samples. but yeah, i didn't mention the other ambient techno stuff since it's an entirely different kettle of fish. if you follow the link to his krill.minima site, there are hq mp3s of "zwischen zwei..." as well as other releases and remixes. i think the radiodub borkenkafer ep's are my favorites.
falter is ok but i think his work as marsen jules is his best work. "yara" is a really good introduction, i think.
