Hi there all you lovely little happy fluff bunnies! Right,
so, I have been working on this track. It's kind of
ambientish stylee etc.
I'm pretty sure it's finished but I thought I'd check with
my fellow xlt soldiers first. Feedback would be loved :D :D

at about 1/4 into it where it becomes really massive..
everything kind of blended into one sound... I don't know if
you mean for this to happen, but...

I like those parts where everything suddenly goes extremely
over-quantified on the drums...

it was a nice track.. varied enough for its length even
though most of it was done on the drums...

overall a good job!

Quite good. Nice atmosphere, and leading melody. Only the
beats lack some depth, but... altogether, they`re not bad
also. I`d stick with the breaks at the end. It would be
good, maybe even better, without any beats.

thanks for the idea! and thanks for listening!

like the time changes alot not sure on the fake guitar sound
other than that its really really good, the beat its HUGE
and the buffer overide bit sounds really good (that plugin
can go really wrong)

good work :)

Nice stuff, very varied, I like the piano especially, but
I'd probably go for less reverb/sustain/release (whichever
it is) for the intro. I can't claim to've made anything
myself but just think it might sound better. But yeah, this
is good.

+ it does change for a bit to a different synth if you give
it a chance and listen on

I can imagine you clicking it, listening for 3 seconds and
then closing it. That thought makes me sad :(

No, I listened to the whole track.

It's not really my thing, but some advice would be to add
some dynamics to the percussion. Mess with the velocity a
bit, etc.

What are you doing all this in, if you don't mind me asking?

It's all good. It's just how you go about doing things.

I use a pretty low-budget setup. I just can't seem to get
into anything I make lately.

that's a bit of a bugger.

yeah I've always believed that you can make professional
sounding stuff on a low budget

any other listeners?

Ack fuck...I was just going to type how much I was enjoying
it. Then it all went like all of your tracks with the tempo
shifts...it is probably your strongest piano/breakbeat/tempo
shifting effort.

don't like when the tempo is slowed down @ 1:30. those
pizzicato-like sounds are great!
i don't understand how the track evolves, those speed
variations don't speak to me, and imo the chords should
change sometimes...
sounds good anyway, it's just like if someone were telling a
story i like the sentences without getting the general
meaning.

i must say the trakcq is very interesting. only the
drum/amen source gets a bit too obvious at the end. perhaps
the trakc could be just 3 minutes long, cause everyting
within the first 3 minutes is very well structured, you
can't get bored with the track. the tension is kept and so
on. and the piano sounds - dark but verry nice. saved !

what a nice surpise! I thought this thread was long gone.

Thanks for listening you three. I may remove that tempo
change at 1:30

ecnad: i'm confused to whether you like it or not lol!

obara: i may develop the amenage at the end a little

Thanks again, you guys are great!
