Midi controllers

I am just posting this to give some attention to it. Pretty
much the only time people mention midi controllers here, the
names dropped are behringer, m-audio and edirol. Well, I
just came across this alesis controller that looks downright
brutal. Don't know about build quality, or sturdiness, or
ease of setting and reliability, but if its half as good as
it seems, then it could be a winner.

It looks gay. Like something a gay group would use whilst
composing a tribute song to gays who died of AIDS caught
through gay.

I suspect if you gave me tips on how to make good music it
would probably involve buying...like... real music gear and
stuff.. and not using extremely dated "modplug tracker"
software exclusively. All well, posting xltronic messages is
the new art medium anyway; fuck music.

Well, if the endless knobs don't seem nice, and the 3d
controller doesn't turn you on, then I guess looking at what
it looks like might be a way for you to determin
functionality.

No. You don't need gear. You just need inspiration and some
skill/technique. Unless you are being sarcastic, where that
deserves a big "hey!" in capital letters

Altho, if I were to suggest an all in one sound design suite
where the possibilities seem endless, I would suggest one of
these:
