New artist on Planet-mu.com. Check the sound files (i.e.
thunder and angels). I definitely like this dudes style,
kind of Milanese-esque.

Slowed down drum'n'bass, great, that only took them, oohhh,
about 10 years to come up with.

It's not bad Grime...kind of like an IDM producer doing it.
The bass on 'Thunder' from 55 seconds in is
beautiful...really reminds me of the Grime nights that
Rephlex put on.

Vex'd :: Degenerate (Planet Mu, 2CD/2LP)

---> Full review...

"...Don't bother about genres. Don't call it grime,
8-bar or dubstep. All you need is a few oldskool
terms: breaks, bass and industrial. I was expecting
only dancefloor material here, but the first half of
Degenerate is more like Scorn doing broken beat..."

;)

I am listening to it again now. It does kind of stay along
the same track throughout, but its a good consistent listen.
:) I love discovering something that you don't feel compeled
to change at all. Even tho it gets tired after a couple
days.
