I'm just getting into this kind of music, and I was
introduced to Lee "Scratch" Perry.. this music is so nice
and mellow. There's something about it.

Any other recommendations plz

Keith Hudson is a darker sounding dub. Might be a little
harder to find. Pole makes some pretty cool modern
experimental electronic dub. Lee "scratch" perry is
probably the best dub artist and producer though.

yeah i heard mr perry actually helped produce some of bob
marley's work; he's gotta be pretty old right now.

i've been listening to a bunch of singles by him and this
collab he did with a guy called mad professor. ever since i
started listening to this "pure" dub music, i understand
where groups like the orb got inspiration for tracks like
off of uforb, you definitely hear the dub influence.

Anybody hear the Long Beach Dub Allstars? I used to big
into sublime and I think this is where the rest of the band
went when Brad died. Somebody was recomending them to me...
can't remember.

Long Beach Dub Allstars are all right but sublime was much
better. You are correct that they are the remaining Sublime
members. However they actually have little to nothing to do
with Dub music other thatn their name.

the complitation called

Macro Dub Infections parts I and II
are in excellent overview of the scene with loads of great
artists and the various styles...
try and see which artists styles suit you

dub works by Bill Laswell and Mick Harris
(SCORN) are also a pretty safe bet

I've been meaning to check some Mad Professor stuff. I
really like his remix album of Massive Attack's Protection.
I prefer the darker, moodier sounding stuff.

My mate has taped me a load of stuff off of the Trojan box
sets which is good.

Horace Andy, though not dub, is fucking class. Check his
'The Prime of...' for some lovely tunes. The man has such a
voice

Then I forgot about till it was too late. Regrets.

Do you know dynamite is made with nitro glycerin and an
absorbant material to fix the problem it had of exploding
with shock only? Neither do I. I wonder if you can buy
dynamite at walmart...
