it's probably a customised one that's only available to the
wealthiest .01% of the universal population.

yeah i will specify power

- user interface allows for greatest amount of "stuff" - as
far as plugins go
- doesnt hog memory with excessive graphical interface
- doesnt hog memory with excessive general extra crap
- stuff is just organized really well and looks clean

Well, what have you tried, if anything? I'm trying to help
narrow this down for you. I know in FLStudio, you can have
more patterns than you could ever possibly use for a track
and its very easy to program stuff. Logic is good too, but
its Mac only, very expensive and has a bit of a learning
curve.

i have used reason and ableton live for making beats, mostly
reason
for the longest time though i was just like putting them
next eachother from hardware in this program called audacity

Logic odyau maybe... but now it's only on the sucking Mac,
because Emagic has been bought by Apple's shit company.
Personaly I hate Cubase, so I use Logic 5.5... But I don't
make music anymore now, so... what is a cunt ?

whooha so you read my post... hemm I don't like Cubase
because... hard to explain in english but... I have a bad
feeling with it. For me, it's just a button-plugs-grid total
mess... Well like Logic, but it's a taste choice maybe.
Also, Autechre use Logic sometimes, so it's a good choice...
(hehaho)(I suck)

A sequencer is a thing coming from Jupiter. Vulcain is
programming it.

Max/MSP is... mmh, epohs like. Too much complex.

Ableton is able to do ton of nothing.

i got to find someone that will teach me how to build a
sequencer in max/msp.. if i knew how to do that thats
probably all id use man.. seems like thats what sean and rob
be using .

clic ive been messing with ableton a little, man, and the
reason i like it so much is cause its easy to record from my
decks

Have you tried EnergyXT? I can't think of a host /
sequencer with more flexible routing. You can even use it as
a plugin to extend the capabilities of another host. And
it's ultra, ultra efficient - easy on your CPU and memory.
Also it is unbelievably inexpensive.

Who is the girl in your avatar. She looks familiar, but I
can't remember who it is.
