so, i have this Adobe Photoshop 3 LE .jpg document i want to print, with six 5x5cm squares on it... i save the file, open it on Mac OS X (because my printer isn't supported under OS 9) and try to print it. but the squares are 7x7cm when printed. so i try to shrink the size with Photoshop and print it again, but the squares are 7x7cm again (even with the image shrunk) - the exact same size. so i try to print it with another OS X app (Quicktime)... and i don't understand how, but i ended up with two sheets printed: one sheet with 4x4cm squares, and one with 0.8x0.8cm squares. o_O
i don't know what's going on here but it's annoying.

check all different resolutions [printer, pixels/inches, etc]
check that there are no 'scale to fit' options enabled.
