What do you people think of Bill Laswell/Praxis? Does anyone have "Transmutation". I like that one.

I only have one CD by Bill Laswell - Invisible Design. I just got it last week but so far I am really enjoying it. It's very atmospheic, what is Transmutation like?

'Transmutation' is pretty diverse. Its considered by most to be his most groundbreaking work (what this means Im not sure). It has heavy parts and modern electronic parts and some sort of weird funk parts and some ambient parts. It does well in anyone's collection I think (well anyone on this website).

It might be filed under the group "Praxis"; I think Praxis means Bill Laswell + Buckethead + Brain.

Yeah Buckethead's new one is great. Its called "Somewhere over the Slaughterhouse". Its not like his old ones at all (I don't really care for those). The new one is almost all weird electronic music...really great and interesting.
