the sound the two of them are able to put out is stronger
than most 4 piece bands. i love everything about them - jack
plays marimbas, piano,m synth, guitars and sings
along..quite a guy! and meg is awesome on drums and really
sweet looking :)

I hate these two people, with a passion. Hate them.

Their music is so boring and unimaginative.. and mirrors
their lack of talent..

Good to hear you had a great time though :)

but they're so nice people..how can you hate them :(

You don't know them personally, you can't be sure that
they're nice.

For all we know they might torture kittens for fun.

I hate them because they're untalented and unmusical and yet
have made money out of making this shit pop-rock anthem
music.

Someone who wrote the guitar riffs for "Girl, you have no
faith in medicine", "Black Math", or "Little Acorns" must
have a good deal of talent. Period.

well, the impression i had before i saw them last night was
that they're a bit inaccessible..a bit of a loners, doing
their thing and not to care about other people much..
but last night they seemed so genuine, modest, and they
seemed to enjoy it a lot. it started the way i imagined them
- not comunicating with audience, being serious, but once
the atmosphere heated and people started to go wild and sing
along jack seemed honestly surprised and he started to smile
(which i never saw him do before)..and then started to talk
to us and was very pleased with the audience response. it
wasn't a classic gig venue - all the artists love that
place, for example nick cave played like 5 times there
already and it's one of his favourite places..just has that
something almost magical to it.

their music is pop but i don't have problems with
that..they're really good at what they do and i love the
sound of it. jack is superb on guitar and has an excellent
voice that totally fits their music..they record their
albums in two weeks so i wouldn't call them untalented :)

right :)
seriously though, he said they appeared much more distant in
zagreb..the crowd really put them into great mood last
night. they played for an hour and 20 minutes..still short,
but they're known for that..
the sound that gets out of meg's drums is just unbelivably
strong..
and i don't think she's really his sister..
