Armand Van Helden was fucking amazing...not the music
itself, but more the crowd...everybody was singing along to
the mixed versions of classic grunge-rock songs.

Autechre was (for me anyways) disappointing,....there where
no visual experience, and the music was so loud that my
pants flapped against my legs with the beat of the bass.

Four Tet was more than lovely...so smooth and so close to
the audience...I went out to buy "Rounds" the next
day...lovely piece of music...

Röyksopp was great, but in a tent that was way to small for
these two beloved Norwegians. The crowd outside the tent was
almost bigger than the one inside, so you had trouble
getting out and in.

Aroma Jockey ODO7 was a wonderful experience...ambient music
evolving into club, while the DJ used (blowing)fans and
aromas to get the crowd in the mood of the music...everybody
was lying on the wooden dance floor, and enjoyed the trip
served to them

ofcourse I saw Green Day, Foo Fighters, The Faint, and a lot
of other bands too, but these are worth mentioning here

The lack of light effects makes Ae quite/even more
exceptional onstage. (Still I think that it looks a little
odd).

Were you able to hear what they were playing? ;-)

AE _rocked_.

Four Tet was absolutely horrible.

Fantômas kicked major ass.

Rahzel kicked major ass.

Sonic Youth kicked the most ass o' them all.

I was too drunk to finish seeing Duran Duran.

if you by "exceptional" mean "boring," then you're probably
right.

staz: I saw razhel a few days earlier here in bergen, and if
he did what he did here, he must've been great!

oh, how I wish I'd had the money this year...

never stuff...
