I just popped this album into the player again and while hei remains my fav, this one is pretty damned great too! It's got some good party-ish songs with fast drums and nice melodies... recommended (along with all his other releases except "for the ladies")! |

yeah, hei is great, but I recommend that you hunt down a copy of this release as well! and the two eps (live shet & hopeness ep). Never mind "for the ladies." |

ah, good! have you got/heard that "hei remixes" thingie then? I've been thinking of getting it, but I can't really tell if it's worth it from the short I've heard, and I don't really think it is something that is required... it sounds a lot more downtempo, though... |

sounds kinda like a lo-fi fourtet, if you know what i mean. to be honest i'm not sure if i know either, but thats what popped into my miined when i heard it. i only have one album on smalltown supersound, called komorebi byyuichiro fujimoto. it is a bit twee for my liking, but the stuff you have linked to is pretty cool.
