Shadow is from Davis nr San Francisco.

Yeah I heard the new track on Worldwide. Not sure yet. Its
good, and may be a grower, but its so different. Its sounds
like something from an electronic background might record
(Warp) rather than with a hip hop background. It doesn't
sound organic like his other stuff.

I guess if he made Endtroducing part II he wouldn't be
progressing. I've been waiting a long time for this new
album.

Thanks for the reminder about the show. I'll have to tape
it. I've got another he did a few years ago; electro stuff.
I've also got the Homelands '99 set which is amazing.

Has anyone got a copy of Shadow's Lesson Four? I found out
the other week that mine was a bootleg. I almost cried. No I
did.

his full-length (called 'private press') is due out may 20th
i believe

for those unfamiliar, check out his 'endtroducing' LP - one
of the best albums of last century in my opinion

I agree..."entroducing" is easily his best work, and an
instant classic....His more expiremental stuff is not top
notch like that LP

Endtroducing is THE best album EVER. It says so in the
Bible.

i am glad to see that you all seem to love endtroducing as
much as i do... i am a bit nervous as i lent it to a friend
of mine and i suffer thinking he is not treating it
carefully... just my obsesion

So glad to hear of a new Shadow album coming soon.

Hell yeah.

"The tracks go off in this direction". I was watching "Star
Wars" Episode IV a couple of weeks ago and heard a
stormtrooper say that when they were looking for the two
droids. It took me a minute to figure out where I had heard
it before...but when I realized it was DJ Shadow, I was
ecstatic
